CLASS:y asked for suggestions for their fandom name through their fan cafe. The name was announced during the group's debut showcase on May 4, 2022, the day before their debut.
2023[]
On May 4, 2023, CLASS:y joined the community platform Weverse, to celebrate the first year anniversary of CLIKE:y and CLASS:y.
Name Meaning[]
The name "CLIKE:y" comes from the English words "click" and "clique":
- "The phrase to click with someone or something means to immediately like someone or something.
- "Clique is a small and exclusive group of people with shared interests or other features in common."
It's also spelled with the word "LIKE" in the middle, meaning someone who likes CLASS:y and someone who CLASS:y likes.

CLASS:y does not have an official light stick. CLASS:y currently uses an acrylic lightstick until they will get an official one.
The acrylic light stick was revealed on July 15, 2022 and sales began on July 20, 2022.
