Three-Death Mindcrash Scenario[]

Unused Content of Hypnospace Outlaw (2)

In the files, graphics and a video related to an ending that has 3 people, Zane Lofton, Carl Parker III, and an unknown person, saved can be found.

Early Y2000 Update Install[]

In the original release of the game, an early version of the Y2000 Update Install video can be found. Differences include a different loading bar and distorted audio when the installing update glitches.

My Amazing Talk Video[]

In the original release of the game, a video of Jay Tholen talking at Fantastic Arcade 2017 can be found, including subtitles.

Test Videos[]

In the original release of the game, 2 test videos, test.htv and testbig.htv can be found. testbig.htv has reduced audio quality compared to test.htv, but both are the same otherwise.

Unused Text[]

Leftover Test Cases[]

In the chapters.ini file, after the HAP chapter section, an unused "Chapter 6" is mentioned, starting on 10/29/1999 10:05:00 GMT-0400 (Eastern Daylight Time). Is a leftover of the test cases from the July Update of the Kickstarter Beta. It has 2 cases included in it: Malicious Software and Harassment. In the current version, a title card was added that says, "YOU SHOULD NEVER SEE THIS! THIS IS A BUG, OR A HACK OR A MOD OR SOMETHING IDK."

Old Tutorials[]

In the original release of the game, 2 .ini files can be found: tutorial-oldback.ini and tutorialBACKUP.ini. They contain early versions of the tutorial seen at the beginning of the game. tutorialBACKUP.ini is very incomplete, and for some reason, certain parts uses .png graphics instead of the usual .htv videos. tutorial-oldback.ini is mostly complete, but it is from an older build that has text differences and uses different .htv files that no longer exist, this tutorial file is similar to the one seen in the Kickstarter Beta (since the .htv files mentioned in the file, exists in the beta).

Re3koning .txt File[]

In the original release, a text file named 2-15-2019-endgamerevamp.txt can be found. The file has info about the design and the addition of Re3koning's character in the game. Based on the date of the file, it is from 1 month before release.

Dumpster Script File[]

In the original release, a text file named nongamestuffforjay.txt can be found. It is meant for a script/writing of The Dumpster.

End of Demo Email and Progression[]

In the original release's emails.ini file, the email that the player would have gotten after beating the Kickstarter Beta is still in the file. In the progression.ini file, a leftover of an end of demo, mentioning T1mageddon, can be found (The Kickstarter Beta ends on the CapaCash case).

emails.ini text:

.HSM unused patterns and steps not used[]

Many Hypnospace Sequencer songs (.hsm) contain unused patterns (either because of those being test patterns for the artist to create the song or simply because it does not match how the song sounds) or notes aren't played because they are outside the steps counter given for that pattern.

Example: the song "Age of Creation" has the first five patterns unused

Early versions of pages[]

After completing the HAP to 100%, new pages are unlocked on the Hypnospace History Zone, some being early versions of current pages and unused ones.

End of Demo Page: This page was shown at the end of the Kickstarter Beta, and on the original release, this page was available on Hypnospace Central as an unlisted page.

Club Badges Page: This page lists every club badge in the game, probably used as a hub for the devs to visit each page that uses one of the badges.

Hidden Text Test Page: This page has tests of text that are both visible and invisible, also with links, probably as tests for invisible text seen in-game and for the Second Sight Program.

Jay's Cafe Page: This page is just a test template made by Jay Tholen.

Abby's Coming Soon Page: This page is a placeholder for AbbyWrites58 page.

Gumshoe Gooper Short Story Page: This page is the early version of the Gumshoe Gooper page made by AbbyWrites58.

Old Jeff's Down Home Motor Club Page: This page is for the user OldJeff61, which went unused thanks to the devs not finding a way to add this page. This page still can be seen on the Easy Spot ad and in the original release, this page was available on Goodtime Valley as an unlisted page on release.

My Hypnospace Page: Early version of the second template page.

Merry Coolpunkmas Page: Meant as a celebration page for Christmas on the Coolpunk Paradise Zone.

Coolpunkoween Page: Meant as a celebration page for Halloween on the Coolpunk Paradise Zone.

Coolpunk Art Page: An empty page meant to contain Coolpunk art.

The Bad Zone Page: A page meant to teach how to flag illegal content, probably an early version of the BadCitizenMcGee page.

The Realm of Plains Page: A mostly empty page meant for Gus Parker.

Magic Shapes Illusion Page: Contains a single image meant to give a visual illusion to the player, meant as part of the original Festering Orifice Puzzle that later became True Tranquility.

HSPD Citizen Detainment Page: Meant for detained citizens, which made their pages put in this zone, and this page is only visible to enforcers and Merchantsoft employees. For some reason, this page also exists in the original release on each chapter folder, but also is empty, probably an oversight by the developers.

Life Tricks Archive Page: Early version of the Life Tricks page of SendMeMoney1.

Pizza Boogie Page: Early version of the Pizza Dance page.

Fre3zer Info Central Page: Early version of Amanda P. "Fre3zer Fan Page".

New Teenage Trend: COOL PUNK: Early version of CPColdSnap "New Teenage Trend: COOL PUNK" page.

Cosmic Labyrinth Page: Meant as an interactable page for Gus Parker which later got cut because of lack of time. Only four pages of the labyrinth (Not including the main page) are available.

Birthstooones Page: Test version of the Birthstones page of Ronnie Porter.

Hypnospace Page (Orifice Guide): Meant as a guide for the Festering Orifice Puzzle.

Festeringnest of the Orifice: Meant as part of the Festering Orifice Puzzle, this is the second and only remaining Nest of the Festering Orifice page available.

HangGlitch Tester/HangGlitch Tester (No Loop) Page: Page used for testing the script HangGlitch.
