Hypnocoin (2024)

Hypnocoin is Hypnospace's form of online currency, and the main form of payment for enforcers.

Usage[]

Hypnocoin is meant to serve as an online currency for Hypnospace. Using Hypnocoin, users can purchase software, desktop backgrounds, and albums. Users that sell things in exchange for Hypnocoin often have a HS_HypnoCoin Merchant badge on their page.

Despite its use in trading, Hypnocoin has no real monetary value. Real money can be converted into Hypnocoin, but not the other way around. As a result, some users resort to using CapaCash to make actual money, which is considered extralegal commerce under CHIME law.

Ways to Earn Hypnocoin[]

Hypnocoin can be obtained in a variety of ways. The main way the player will earn Hypnocoin is through their job as an enforcer. Every time a CHIME law is accurately reported, the player will earn Hypnocoin, and the player will earn extra Hypnocoin for every case closed. Hypnocoin can also be gained through the Janitor game, Outlaw, or donating a negative amount to the Hax Gods. Non-enforcers can obtain Hypnocoin by purchasing it with real money, but this option is not available to the player.

Reporting and Closing Cases[]

The first and most obvious way to earn yourself Hypnocoin is through fulfilling all cases, and closing the case after. While each case requires the player to find a certain amount of items before closing it, it is sometimes possible in most cases to find more than the required amount. This will get the player more Hypnocoin than the cases generally offer.

Janitor Accountant Fun[]

Janitor becomes available on November 26th and is another much faster and easier way to earn yourself a good sum of Hypnocoin without having to work on cases right away, if you're looking to purchase some of the backgrounds and such in-game. Janitor is free to download and doubles the amount of Hypnocoin you get each time you level up in the mini-game. Just be sure to toss the infected files immediately or it will instantly reset your level.

Outlaw[]

Ironically, for being a game that causes the crash of the player's headband on the first day, Outlaw is a pretty great way to earn Hypnocoin. While the game may seem unstable on Nov 5th, it's perfectly playable if you go back to its download page on Nov 26th or even Dec 31st. All you have to do is catch each Outlaw with a reward of 33 Hypnocoin given each time. Just be sure not to crash into anyone or destroy any cars as this will cause a penalty and take away some of the coins you've earned in the game.

Dreamtoolz - Debugs[]

Dreamtoolz is an odd way to access Hypnocoin, but it's possibly one of the best ways to earn it if you want everything instantly. Dreamtoolz is available in the Freelands from Nov 5th to Dec 31st, however, you can only access the area with Dreamtoolz using the 3y3 which is available on day one through Roddy Wall's FLST, but the Freelands itself is not accessible until the 26th. Once you have Dreamtoolz all that's left to do is click the Donate button under "Donate to the Hax Godz" and type in the number "-999999", while the message it gives seems threatening there's no real threat to doing this and you have infinite money:)
