One of the most infurating things (to me) about using craigslist to advertise rentals is that the people who reply do one of the following 95 percent of the times: * leave a short reply to call them. * use the canned reply "what's the least you'll take" or "will you work with me" responses. OR when I do respond, and ask pre screening questions, they ignore them and just repeat their first message. The level of their responses tells me that they are either scammers looking for a landlord who is inexperienced or are so ignorant or useless they can't even follow simple directions. What I do is to simply delete them either immediately or for sure delete them if they fail to answer my first reply to them. My question is this: does anyone have any tips from experience on how to get answers from these types. Being nice or explaining things does not seem to work as they apparently want to control the dialog. --23.121.xx.xxx
