Is Crunch Bar discontinued? ›

As of 2023 Crunch is offered in the US in a variety of sizes including Classic (1.55oz.) which is now a segmented bar, Fun Size, Minis and Giant (4.4oz.).

Ferrero acquired the Crunch brand from Nestlé in early 2018, along with brands such as Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, Laffy Taffy and SweeTarts. The company has worked to revitalize the former Nestlé brands over the last two years, including by launching a refined recipe and advertising campaign for Butterfinger in 2019.

As well as the Breakaway, Nestle is also discontinuing Yorkie Biscuit bars – not to be confused with Yorkie chocolate bars, which are “staying for good”. A Nestle spokeswoman said: “We know fans will be disappointed to see it go, but it's time for us to say goodbye to Breakaway.

One of the significant edible items the brand in black and green brought to market was the Combat Crunch Protein Bar, which was eventually discontinued but is about to be followed by something similar. MusclePharm has announced it is getting back into the business of protein bars by way of the Combat Sport Protein Bar.

The original manufacturers, Neilson, sold its chocolate brands to Cadbury in 1996, though packaging continued to feature the Neilson logo for a few years.
