Is NFHs Learn legit? ›

The NFHS is an accredited institution by Cognia and exceeds the same high standards that are expected from schools across the country.

If you completed the course and passed the test, you are certified for life and will be included on the “National Certified Coaches” database.

How do I access my national credential? From your Dashboard, select “My Certificates.” You can then download PDF certificates of all national credentials you have earned within the account.

The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Fundamentals of Coaching Course provides a unique student-centered curriculum for interscholastic teacher/coaches, assisting them in creating a healthy and age appropriate athletic experience that supports the educational mission of the nation's schools.

One of the most serious problems with the NFHS is that the field researchers are often poorly trained, underpaid and exploited. Field agencies often violate labour laws with regard to payments, accommodation, travel and insurance.

Cost: $35 for educational content and insurance, OR; *NEW (2022‐23): $45 for educational content, insurance AND a one‐year subscription to the NFHS Network (subscriptions are normally $69.99 per year per individual).

The NFHS Network has always distributed a percentage of every subscription to our schools. The High School Support Program helps them generate even more money. Through this program schools receive a larger share of the revenue from Annual Subscriptions.

COACHING EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: The State of California mandates all coaches successfully complete a coaching education course by the first day of coaching high school athletics.

How to begin a course on NFHs? ›

Step 1: Go to www.nfhslearn.com. Step 2: Sign in to your account using your email address and password or create a new account. Step 3: Once you log in, you'll be taken to your Dashboard. Here you'll see all of the courses in your account.

Past events / games may be available for purchase in the form of a downloadable digital copy. Note: DVDs are no longer available for purchase from NFHS Network. All purchases available from the NFHS Network website or store are digital downloads only.

The purpose of the Authenticating Mark Program is to insure equipment conforms to NFHS rules and requirements for contest played under the NFHS rules. It helps to promote a level playing field by assuring consistency in the equipment being used in NFHS sanctioned interscholastic competition.

CAN I WATCH PAST GAMES? Yes*, you can. Our video-on-demand content makes it easy to go back and watch a game you missed or want to replay. *Some games may be blacked out for a period of time by the school or publisher.

To become a Master Certified Coach (MCC), you need to complete over 200 hours of intensive coach training and have more than 2,500 hours of coaching experience to apply for the MCC credential.
