The ride begins with a steep incline that offers great views of the strip. Once you’ve crested the hill, you’ll experience the first 144-foot drop! Big Apple was the world’s first coaster to feature a 180-degree heartline twist and dive maneuver. Hold on tight as you twist around corkscrews and face two inversions. Riders will feel the excitement when the Big Apple Coaster reaches speeds of 67 MPH.

Scream Pass
The scream pass is available daily during limited hours. The pass is good from 1 PM to 9 PM and gives the riders access to unlimited rides! As many times as you want to get on the coaster during that time, this day ride pass covers it!
Scream Pass holders also receive $2 off a photo print of their Big Apple experience.
Family Fun Flight Pass
The Family Fun Flight Pass is great for groups with multiple riders. You’ll receive a great rate for four individual ride passes.
Two 5×7 ride photos are included with the purchase of a Family Fun Flight Pass too! These passes are good Monday – Sunday from 1 PM to 9 PM.

Discounts
Discount passes are available to first responders and military personnel. You can be active or retired to qualify. Bring valid proof of your occupation during limited hours and get on the coaster for a discounted rate!
Discount pricing is available Monday – Sunday 1 PM to 9 PM and Friday – Sunday from 9 PM to midnight.

Hours of Operation
Big Apple Coaster on the Las Vegas Strip opens daily at 11 AM, but hours are subject to change.
The coaster closes at 11 PM Monday – Thursday. The hours of operation are a bit longer on Friday- Sunday, with the coaster staying open until midnight. You must be in line at the coaster at least 30 minutes before closing time to ensure you get to ride.
Capacity limitations and poor weather conditions may cause operators to suspend service and tickets. If you book timed tickets and the ride isn’t in operation at that time, you’ll receive a full refund.

Roller Coaster Weddings
The easiest way to get to the site of the Big Apple Coaster is to start at the front desk of New York, New York. Turn right and walk to the Century elevators. Take the escalator by the Century Elevators up. You’ll get off the escalator right by Nathan’s Famous Hotdogs. The coaster is to the left of Nathan’s Famous Hotdogs.
