Can you cook ready meals in an air fryer?

Our meals are not designed with this style of cooking in mind, our meals are created specifically for microware and oven cooking as these are the most ubiquitous cooking methods in homes in the UK.

The balance of meals is carefully created for these processes so that all the components are at an optimal eating quality when cooked for the same amount of time, which would not be possible when cooking in an air fryer.

Even taking a meal which might seem to more readily lend itself to this method, such as Fish and Chips with meal still comes with peas which would become hard and dry if heated in an air fryer.

Also, our packaging solutions are designed in line with the recommended cooking methods in mind so unsuitable for this method.

Canyou reheat a ready meal?

No, we do not advise reheating our our ready meals. They are designed to be be cooked once. Each time you reheat food the chances of food poisoning are increased. Also, the meal will not taste as nice. If you find you can't manage a whole meal then try our mini meals for those that need a smaller portion.

Howlong can ready meals be frozen?

All of our ready meals have recommended use by dates and we'd recommend enjoying your meal before the date. Typically this would be from 3 to 6 months.

It’s amazing how far frozen ready meals have come; no longer are they limited in variation or made for convenience over flavour or nutrition.
