How to Remove Eggnog Stains from Your Clothes
If you spill eggnog on your pants or favourite ugly Christmas sweater, here’s what to do. First, dab the stain with a clean paper towel or cloth towel. Tip: do not rub the stain, this will only push the stain further into the fibres of your clothes. Next, soak your garment in cold water and then dab the stain with an enzymatic laundry detergent. Eggnog is a protein stain and needs to be broken down by a detergent with enzymes. If the stain does not come out, consider taking your garment to a professional. How to Remove Eggnog Stains from Your Area Rug or Carpet
Similar to removing eggnog stains from your clothes, grab a clean paper towel or cloth and dab the rug to sponge up any excess liquid. Next, flush the stain with cold water. Mix two cups of warm water with 1 teaspoon of enzymatic laundry detergent in a spray bottle. Continue to dab the stain.
