1. HERMES

French fashion house Hermes is the oldest luxury brand in the world still in operation today.
It was founded in 1837 by Thierry Hermes.
The designer originally produced saddles and other riding gear. The first unofficial Hermes bag designed in addition to riding equipment was designed to carry saddles. This was followed by the most successful and iconic products, the special Kelly and Birkin bags.

Louis Vuitton ranks 2nd in the list of the oldest luxury brands in the world.
The French fashion house was founded in 1854 by Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton belongs to LVMH, the world's largest luxury group.
Its creative director is Nicolas Ghesquiere.

Lanvin is a French fashion house founded in 1889 by Jeanne Lanvin.
