Eggnog Crisis at the North Pole

The makers of Elf Eggnog are warning North Pole residents there may be a shortage of their eggnog in the coming weeks.
An early winter, a shortage of Montana-grown grain customarily used at North Pole dairies and a hearty appetite for eggnog during the Thanksgiving holiday have combined to create perfect conditions for a shortage during peak season.
“This could be a disaster,” reported Elf Finley Perkins, a supply chain manager at the North Pole. “Elf Eggnog is just not available in other places. It’s made here, using a secret recipe that is centuries old. It’s the lifeblood of elf work. Without it we could suffer a real blow to the Christmas spirit at the time of the year when it is the most important.”
Other elves were not as concerned about the situation, particular Mrs. Claus. “Elf Eggnog is good,” Mrs. Claus said, “But nobody’s world is going to end without it. I only drink it when I don’t have time to make my own. I suggest anyone suffering from a lack of Elf Eggnog take a crack at my recipe.”
Those surprising comments from Mrs. Claus have created a firestorm of response on the North Pole Village website. North Pole citizens are saying they would LOVE to have Mrs. Claus’ recipe for eggnog.
