The most expensive home in the entire country has surfaced in Naples, FL, with a price tag of $295 million.

Known as Gordon Pointe, the palatial waterfront spread boasts a primary residence and two guesthouses. Overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the 9-acre lot also comes with a yacht basin, T-shaped dock, and 1,655 feet of water frontage.

According to “The Wall Street Journal,” the property was purchased by financier John Donahue, who is said to have picked up the original 4-acre lot in 1985 for just $1 million before building the family’s dream home on it in 1989 and eventually amassing many more acres.

Other pricey properties up for sale this week include a recently completed spec house in California, a Plaza Hotel penthouse in New York, and a waterfront Palm Beach mansion.

Built in 1990, the property last traded hands in 2021, when then-owners Robert and Suzanne Steinberg sold it to a limited liability company for $18 million, according to the Palm Beach Daily News. This seven-bedroom home sits on 1.5 acres of prime real estate overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.

The property last traded hands in 2021 for $25.7 million. According to the Palm Beach Daily News, music equipment manufacturer Hartley D. Peavey and wife Mary sold the 18,429-square-foot residence to a Florida limited liability company with ties to a hedge fund executive. The current sellers, who had previously been offering the place as a rental for $150,000 a month, are poised to collect quite a profit if they get anywhere near the $2,165-per-square foot asking price.

While there are no interior photos shown, the listing says there are “light-and-bright living spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows.” The property also offers a tennis court, boat dock, and an oceanfront pool and spa.
